The administration of the Village of Rouses Point consists of an elected legislative body of five (5) elected officials. The legislative body (Board of Trustees) is comprised of the Mayor and four (4) Trustees. It is the responsibility of the Village Board to run the village government, including legislation, budget, and hiring.  The Mayor serves as chief executive officer.  Under Village Law the Mayor appoints the Treasurer and Clerk subject to Board approval. The Treasurer serves as chief fiscal officer of the Village.  The Clerk serves as the clerk to the Board of Trustees as well as other duties set forth in Village Law.

Village Board meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month promptly at 7:00 P.M. in Halstead Hall, located in the Civic Center at 39 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY.
