VILLAGE OF ROUSES POINT
The Electric Department, headed by Public Works Supervisor Brian S. Pelkey is located at the Village garage at 1 Lily Avenue. The Department consists of one Chief Line Worker and two Line Workers. The Department shares the garage with the Public Works Department.
The Rouses Point Municipal Electric System was formed on February 1, 1903. The Village Board are the officers of the System. All energy sold is purchased from the New York Power Authority and the New York Municipal Power Agency.
Approximately 95% of the Village's electric utilites are underground.
