UPDATE (Posted 5/16/14) -
The Rouses Point Dodge Memorial Library is a beehive of activity this month. Some of you may have noticed that on May 9 and May 16 there weere several people around the library raking, washing windows and cleaning the flower beds. In addition to working outside, several people were inside the library painting the Workroom/Office and building new shelvles in the Reading Room. This is a result of Pfizer employees participating in the United Way Day of Caring. Many, many thanks to these wonderful people and to Pfizer.
On May 15th, Library Director Donna Boumil had the privilege of attending a Girl Scout Brownie meeting in Rouses Point. Girls from Brownie Troop 4027 donated $80 to the library to purchase books. This was a wonderful surprise! The donation will be used to purchase childrens books. A name plate will be placed inside each book notating the donation by the Brownie Troop. Thank you so much for your generosity!
From May 19-21 the parking lot will be closed for sealing and striping. Please park on White Avenue. Thank you for your patience.
