PRESS RELEASE - Posted 04/26/23: Budget Arrangement offered to Residential Electric Customers
The following are the times and dates for receiving 2023 Village Taxes at the Village Office, 139 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, from June 1 to July 1, 2023 inclusive; after which date a 5 percent penalty added for the first month and 1 percent for each additional month until unpaid taxes are turned over to Clinton County by the Village on November 1, for relevy.
If remitting by mail, payments must be postmarked before penalty date. Mail payments to: Village Treasurer, Village of Rouses Point, PO Box 185, Rouses Point, NY 12979-0185. Online payments must be made at the Xpress-pay .com link below. Payments made online must be prior to the due date listed on the tax bill. No partial payments will be accepted with any payment method. A $2.00 fee will be added to second notice tax bills. All forms of payment are in US funds only.

The Treasurer's Office offers online eCheck, credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and debit card payments through Xpress-pay.com as a convenience for customers for the following types of bills: utility bills (Electric, Water and Sewer, including eBills); property taxes; Civic Center Bills, building and demolition permits and hunting and fishing licenses. NOTE: Xpress-pay.com charges a small convenience fee (2.85% + $.40) for credit card payments and $2.50 for eCheck payments for the use of its' site. There is a $4.00 minimum payment required on the Xpress-pay.com site.
The Treasurer's Office cannot accept Xpress-Pay payments over the telephone.

WEB INQUIRY AND PAYMENT PORTAL "WIPP" (UTILITY BILLS)
The Treasurer's Office offers WIPP for viewing utility customer's transaction history against their accounts and provide a means of payment of their utility bills (Electric, Water and Sewer). NOTE: WIPP charges a a small convenience fee (2.95%) for credit card payments and $1.95 for eCheck payments for the use of its' site. The fees are shown prior to the entry of payment information. The Village does not receive or store card numbers. The Treasurer's Office encourages utility customers to go green and sign up for eBills. A PIN is required to use this service. Please call the office for additional information.
