VILLAGE TAXES
Another service provided by the Treasurer's Office is the posting of the Village tax bills and receipts online. Tax bills and receipts for tax years 2006 to present can be viewed and printed as warranted. Please note 2009 tax bills and receipts link is not available online. VILLAGE OF ROUSES POINT TAX NOTICE - 2022
The following are the times and dates for receiving 2022 Village Taxes at the Village Office, 139 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY: 7:30AM to 4:00PM each day except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, from June 1 to July 1, 20212inclusive; after which date a 5 percent penalty added for the first month and 1 percent for each additional month until unpaid taxes are turned over to Clinton County by the Village on November 1, for relevy. If remitting by mail, payments must be postmarked before penalty date. Mail payments to: Village Treasurer, Village of Rouses Point, PO Box 185, Rouses Point, NY 12979-0185. US funds only. A $2.00 fee will be added to second notice tax bills. No partial payments will be accepted. To view tax bills and receipts click the above link.
VILLAGE TAX EXEMPTIONS
The Village of Rouses Point offers a number of tax exemptions to reduce the tax liabilities for certain individuals.
The tax exemptions offered include the following:
- Senior Citizen
- Alternative Veterans
- Persons with Disabilities and Limited Income (Partial)
- Volunteer Firefighters and Volunteer Ambulance Workers
- Cold War Veterans
